Indiana defenseman Buddy Hield scored a historic hit against Cleveland (135:126).
Hield picked up the ball right after the start of the controversial, turned around and accurately threw from behind the arc. Buddy finished in just 3 seconds, now he owns the fastest 3-point hit in NBA history (since the introduction of play-by-play statistics in 1996).
The previous record was also set by a Pacers player. Reggie Miller on March 5, 2000 threw from behind the arc 4 seconds after the start of the meeting with the Warriors.
Heald had 25 points on Thursday (10 of 14 from the field, including 5 of 6 from behind the arc), 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
