England midfielder Jude Bellingham has been named the most expensive participant in the 2022 World Cup.
According to calculations by the International Center for Sports Studies (CIES), the transfer value of the Borussia Dortmund midfielder is 202 million euros.
The ranking includes only the most expensive players from each team participating in the tournament by
football highlights in Qatar.
The top ten includes:
1. Jude Bellingham (England, Borussia Dortmund) - 202 million euros;
2. Vinicius Junior (Brazil, Real Madrid) - 201 million euros;
3. Kylian Mbappe (France, PSG) - 185 million euros;
4. Pedri (Spain, Barcelona) - 158 million euros;
5. Jamal Musiala (Germany, Bavaria) - 151 million euros;
6. Federico Valverde (Uruguay, Real Madrid) - 123 million euros;
7. Ruben Dias (Portugal, Manchester City) - 118 million euros;
8-9. Josko Guardiol (Croatia, Leipzig) - 110 million euros;
8-9. Frenkie de Jong (Netherlands, Barcelona) - 110 million euros;
10. Lautaro Martinez (Argentina, Inter) - 99 million euros.
